A PRAYER

Heavenly Father, as Your glory once broke open the sky on that high mountain, revealing Jesus shining like the sun, we stand together in this moment-- all of us, everywhere-- lifting our eyes to behold Your beloved Son. Overwhelm us with awe, quiet our racing hearts, silence every voice but Yours saying, "This is My Son, whom I love; listen to Him." Transform us by this glimpse of glory, and send us down the mountain carrying Your light. Amen!

• Sunday, May 4 - Celebration of 150 years of Methodist ministry in La Conner and dedication of the Memorial Park adjacent to the church. Refreshments and program outdoors following the regular church service. ALL are welcome!
