A Prayer

God of victory over death, your Son Jesus Christ revealed himself again and again, and convinced his followers of his glorious resurrection. Grant that we may know his risen presence, in love obediently feed his sheep, and care for the lambs of his flock; those we may meet this week in our day-to-day journey. Until we join the hosts of heaven, in worshiping you and praising forever, even now as we now pray...

The prayer Jesus taught his disciples saying: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
